Leave a Legacy

Leaving a legacy in your will is one of the best ways of ensuring that we can continue our valuable work. We are Catholic Concern for Animals and nearly all of our work is paid for by donations. A gift in your will, however small or large, can help ensure we can always be here for the cause of animal welfare.

By making a Will you can ensure that your wishes, and the people and causes you care about, are provided for. After providing for your family and friends remembering us in your will means that we will be able to carry on the work of CCA. By leaving a gift in your Will you can shape the future, ensuring that we are always here for the cause you care about.

CCA is committed to being there for having a responsibility to respect and protect all sentient beings. If you decide to leave a gift in your will to us, you will be supporting us in changing attitudes towards animals and encouraging people to treat them with love and kindness. Every single gift is vital to CCA and we appreciate any gift you may choose to leave us. Whatever the value of your gift, it will go a long way to help someone who needs us.

It will not cost you a penny during your lifetime. It is simple to do and is free from inheritance tax. All gifts, whatever their size make a real difference. It truly is a gift of a lifetime. We thank you in advance for making a generous, thoughtful contribution. Your gift will make a lasting and positive difference to CCA.

By producing and distributing educational material and advocating within national and international religious and political organisations, Catholic Concern for Animals is changing attitudes towards animals and encouraging people to treat them with love and kindness. But to be able to continue this vital work we need financial resources.

As a charity we receive no public funds and rely entirely on the generosity of compassionate people who believe that humans have a responsibility to respect and protect all sentient beings, and who wish to support our advocacy and educational work within and beyond the Catholic community by donating to Catholic Concern for Animals.

Since the charity’s beginnings in 1929, legacies have enabled us to continue our work for animals through changing and sometimes very difficult historical times, including the Second World War, when the plight of animals is lowest on the agenda of clergy, politicians and the general public. Yet, it is during hard times that animals, like humans, suffer the most, which is why legacies are so critical to ensuring that we have the resources we need to continue advocating for the welfare and rights of animals, and achieve positive change for all sentient beings.
