We are delighted to share with you the wonderful Catholic Social Teaching and Humane Education Guide for Kindergarten to Eighth Grade pupils (equivalent to ages 5 to 14 in the UK), produced by William Radinson in America. The resources enable educators to teach kindness and compassion to animals as Care for Creation.

LAUDATO SI’: Good education plants seeds when we are young, and these continue to bear fruit throughout life.

Interfaith Teaching Resources

The Animal Interfaith Alliance (AIA), RE Today and Veganism in Education (VinE) have worked together to produce some wonderful Interfaith teaching materials for religious education in schools. The resources will enable teachers and pupils to explore, through critical, objective and pluralistic RE lessons, questions around the moral status of animals and ethical veganism as a worldview.

Spirited Arts Competition 2024

Get involved in the 2024 Spirited Arts & Poetry Competition, run by NATRE (the National Association of Teachers of Religious Education and join hundreds of schools from around the world taking part in this year’s competition.

This year AIA and VinE are jointly sponsoring the theme “Why Do Animals Matter?” to highlight the importance of animals.
